About Bancroft Contracting
A Message from Our President
As the second-generation owner of Bancroft Contracting Corporation, I’m proud to continue the tradition my father, Al, started in 1977 — delivering safe, high-quality industrial construction and maintenance services that keep our customers’ operations running. Our skilled and mobile workforce thrives on tackling complex projects in demanding environments, always with a focus on safety and performance. Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted to serve a wide range of industries, from power generation to marine construction, while staying true to our roots as a family-owned, self-performing general contractor. At Bancroft, we measure our success by the trust we earn and the lasting relationships we build with our customers.

MARINE SERVICES
Bancroft Marine Services delivers comprehensive marine construction solutions across the New England coastline. As a trusted industry leader, we leverage our own fleet of vessels and barges to self-perform every phase of work—ensuring efficiency, quality, and unmatched project control.
General Contracting
Bancroft Contracting was founded on the back of industrial construction in Paper Mills, Dams, and Powerstations dating back to the late 1900’s. We continue to be a force in the industry today leading the way with work on renewable energy facilities, structures to help benefit local ecosystems, and making upgrades to old industrial buildings.
Crane Services
Bancroft offers a wide variety of Crane Services across the Northeast. We employ a fleet of our own cranes and heavy equipment, varying in size and type, to get the job done.
Construction Management
Bancroft Contracting is a proven leader in industrial construction, trusted to deliver projects safely, on time, and on budget. We combine hands-on expertise with strong project management skills, giving clients confidence whether we’re self-performing critical work or overseeing an entire team of subcontractors. From start to finish, Bancroft keeps projects running smoothly through clear coordination, cost control, and commitment to quality.
